BirthWriteLab is a feedback community for the members of Birthright: A Fantasy RPG, which is based on the concept of Joss Whedeon's Buffy/Angel series.
Guidelines
1. Members may post their independent fanfiction or solo/scened Birthright submissions for review and critique by one another. Only personal work may be posted, unless permission has been granted by the author (i.e. a scene written by two people).
2. Posts must be cut-tagged by Birthright's in-character guidelines if they contain explicit adult content (sexual or violent).
3. Posts that aren't Birthright-related should include a label that says so.
4. Birthright-related submissions should be posted here for critique after appearing in the game and not before.
5. Each writer that submits work for a critique should commit to accepting feedback in an open, positive way, and should remember that feedback is subjective and only an opinion.
6. Each reviewer should commit to providing detailed feedback that is constructive, polite, and well-balanced in terms of positive/negative content. The purpose is to engage in a project that is beneficial and supportive.
7. Reviews should contain the following: Areas of Strength, Areas for Improvement, Other Comments (if necessary).
8. A comment thread between writer and reviewer is encouraged, as long as it maintains a positive tone!
9. We allow anonymous commenting, but not anonymous posting. If writers would like this to be modified, please speak with a Birthright moderator!
